The larger gîte, in a converted barn, sleeps up to 8 adults and 4 children with room for cots. Each room in the large gîte (holiday home) has an en-suite bathroom and there is a large family area downstairs with access to the gardens, terrace and swimming pool for all guests. The smaller gîte sleeps up to six people. Both are situated next door to our lovely home in the Puy De Dome Region, Auvergne, France, so we are always on hand if you need anything – other than that, the place is your own for a minimum booking of six nights.
In winter, we are fresh and frosty with the very real possibility of a white Christmas, and in Summer we are warm and balmy with temperatures soaring into the mid thirties. We are rural and quiet, surrounded by fields and woodland, set on the side of a hill overlooking the small village of Espinasse. We are one hour from the city of Clermont Ferrand or Vichy, the Chaine de Puys (80 volcanoes), and just an hour and a quarter from the quaint ski resort of Le Mont Dore. You can either relax in front of the log burner reading books in winter, dip in and out of the pool in summer, or get out and about walking, kayaking, skiing and mountain biking on our many countryside trails.

Our fully self-contained gîte features one double room, one twin room, a lounge with a sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom and additional WC with one bathroom, plus one extra WC.
Use of swimming pool, gardens and children’s play area. Fully equipped, with bedding and towels provided.
Sleeps up to 6 adults (with two cots also available)
Our gîte is available for just 840 euros a week – seven nights 1 June to 31 August, plus Christmas and New Year (subject to winter heating surcharges).
